Welcome to Peak Engineering Solutions. We are a small specialist constancy dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in construction to deliver value for money. Our unique approach uses our near 30 years of experience in design and build civil engineering and construction coupled with some specialist expertise in advanced structures to help you focus on a solution that is buildable, good value for money and quick. Our aim is to assist you develop the best value solution for your project, whatever stage you are at or whatever your role you play, be it Client, Consultant, Supply Chain or Main Contractor.
We have a very simple approach to projects and that is:
- Start your project with the end in mind and maintain that focus throughout its development!
The services we offer is a unique solutions based Value Engineering service. Initial contact with us is FREE. We aim only to add value to your project to help you get to the next stage. For you this could mean:
- Finding ways to go faster
- Finding cheaper solutions without compromise to function
- Getting more for your investment
- Getting your project back on track
- Winning work through innovation, not just price slashing
- Avoiding unforeseen construction risks early in the design and procurement phase
We have experience in many aspects of construction such as rail, highways, building and major temporary works.
Value engineering can be subjective depending who you are and what each stakeholder wants achieve from the investment. With depth of experience, Peak Engineering Solutions can help navigating this sometimes less than clear path to what you are looking for.
Initial contact with us if FREE and we will go through the following steps with you:
- Project review which is FREE
- Value Engineering Proposal is also FREE, that will identify elements you may wish to pursue
- Offer of service to allow PES to support you and your project from start to end
The targets we set ourselves are:
- 10% to 20% saving to your project through value engineering
- Our overall fee being 1% to 2% of the saving
We want to help you stay in the zone:
Most effective value engineering is carried out in ‘the zone’. The graph above represents the effects of implementing change on a project. The blue represents the rising cost of change as time advances through the project, the green represents the falling return from implementing Value Engineering in the same associated time. The clouded zone to the left represents the period where implementing Value Engineering is most effective to make the greatest saving.

At last I got round to uploading a website. It is a bit basic in both content and graphics and I can only apologise at the moment. I promise I will improve it over time.
Peak Engineering Solutions was launched in September 2014 and since then has been supporting Carillion and Network Rail on the CP5 rail framework in the East Midlands and Midland Mainline Electrification programme. Both fabulous projects with all the challenging aspects of construction in and around a multi discipline railway environment.
